Pitch is the embodiment of fear itself. Under normal circumstances he can easily and instinctively know what the fears of those around him are, to better exploit for his own gain. He also uses this knowledge to "nudge" people in certain directions. For example, if there is a dark hallway and a character is afraid of the dark, Pitch will be able to pick up on that and tell them to find another way around, because that hallway is simply too dark. It is his way of enabling the survival of certain individuals, his original role in the grand scheme of things. However, as of late he's rather enjoyed tormenting people with their fears for his own amusement.

SO WITH THAT BEING SAID this is a handy permissions post for that!

Anything else (show of affection, injury, killing) I am usually a-ok with! Just in the case of any injury or killing situations I ask that you drop me a line first.

Post here with whether it's okay for Pitch to pick up on your character's fears, and if so, list them, or go into depth with them. Go crazy! Also specify if inflicting your character with nightmares is something that's allowed. <3

I only have OU Xion (attheclocktower) and since she's never heard of the Guardians or the legends pertaining to them this'll probably be fun.

Picking up on her fears is a-ok and so are nightmares! Just... make sure I know first in the latter case in particular so I can make sure she reacts accordingly.

As for Xion's fears... Her biggest fear right now is being alone or being left alone. A lot of her friends and closer CR have left the Tower lately so this fear is particularly pronounced. She still has a fair number of friends left, but there's still this underlying "Well what if they'll leave me next" and so on and so forth.

Hurting or betraying her friends, especially if she can't control it, is another fear of hers. Helplessness is a big part of the above fear. She's been used against her friends and she's attacked and nearly hurt people very important to her before because of tower events and she hates it a lot. Bad things happen, but not being able to fight them at all is the worst feeling.

Less strong but still present fears are a mild fear of heights and some claustrophobia. Early on she was nearly shoved of one of the then-tallest floors in the Tower, thus the fear of heights (though it's faded a little). More recently her first Tower death was a result of her own costume, leading to the claustrophobia, particularly in the form of tight-fitting clothing.
